In the beginning of 2014, the company SYNCHRON-S launched a new service for its current and future customers. The service is thermographic inspection of electrical installations, machines and equipment through infrared technology .

Thermographic inspection is an analysis of the heat distribution in the observed object in order to locate problem areas with high temperature, invisible to the human eye. Heated components were visualized by thermography images taken using a special camera. Thereby it is uncovered hidden damage such as bad electrical connections or terminal connections, faulty switchgear, problem areas in cables, overloading electrical circuits, damages to motors or other electrical equipment.

The main characteristic of infrared survey is early detection of damages to prevent emergency situations and fire due to an electrical failure.

The new service is part of the overall policy of SYNCHRON-S relating to the provision of a set of safety measures to prevent fires and dangerous situations.
